PEnobscot bay brewery & Winterport Winery

Our brewery was established in 2009, just 8 years after our winery opened its doors in the fall of 2001. The Anderson’s built this independently owned brewery and winery business from the ground-up, which began as a hobby and turned into a full scale operation. Throughout the years, our small batch beers, award-winning wines, and delicious ciders have become staples of the community and is what keeps our customers coming back for more.

In October 2021, the Andersons were ready for retirement and sold their beloved family owned business to a group of five young professionals and friends who share the same passion and charisma for craft beer, wine, and cider as they do. Although a change in ownership, the quality and craft of our products remain superior and mouth watering.

Penobscot Bay Brewery and Winterport Winery continue to craft the very beer, wine, and cider the community has grown to love. It is also in our nature to challenge the status quo by developing new flavors and styles, while also locally sourcing as many of our ingredients as possible.
